Jerry Kennedy Realty Inc., highly recommends that buyers have any home they purchase (even new construction) Inspected by a licensed home inspector or licensed contractor. Inspections usually cost from $150 to $250. If you are financing your home purchase, a termite inspection will be required prior to closing. If you pay cash you should still have these inspection done for your own protection.

By Florida law every Real Estate Agent is required to give you a disclosure on first contact that they do not work for you until such time as agency is defined by you. If you purchase a home listed by our firm we act as a Transaction Broker where by, we do not represent either party, but do our best to make the transaction take place. If you purchase another companies listing, we can act as your Buyers Broker. These disclosures will be further explained to you upon first meeting with our Agents.
Jerry Kennedy Realty Agents will help you understand the Real Estate contracts we use by going through the "Standards for Real Estate Transaction" printed on the contracts. If something is not included we can write an addendum that will cover your needs.
